Simulation and Test of Mold Transport Mechanism of Multi Mold Cycle Production Line

Abstract: A new mold transport mechanism was put forward. In order to verify its strength and stability, a three-dimensional model of the institution was established making structural static analysis. The model was simplified according to the results of static analysis and the critical load of the mould delivery mechanism was calculated. Then the buckling analysis of the simplified model and the original model was conducted. According to the simulation analysis of the total deformation nephogram, the stress nephogram, critical load and buckling mode, the strength and stability of the mold transport mechanism were verified. The stress concentration area and the buckling position could be found. Then, each critical load values was obtained. On this basis, the improved and optimized mold transfer mechanism could be obtained which was verified in practical engineering applications. The result proves the correctness of the analysis and optimization providing a feasible and effective method for this kind of design and application.
