Thinking on Digital Twin for Weapon System

Abstract: The main development process of the digital twin technology is reviewed and its necessity for the weapon system is put forward. The definition and composition of the digital twin for the weapon system is given and its application architecture and key technologies, such as the construction of the digital thread, bi-directional collaborative simulation and control, intelligent autonomous evolution, digital twin operation support based on the container-simulation-cloud, et al, are analyzed. The preliminary research and practice of some key technologies is expounded, and the future research directions are summarized and looked forward to.
