摘要: 用三等分体元边界的方法取代了原始Marching Cubes算法中通过线性插值获得等值面与体元交点的方法,该方法不仅解决了线性插值不适用于气象数据模拟的问题,还有效地减少了等值面绘制过程中生成的三角面片的数量,在减少冗余提高绘制速度的同时也进一步提高了等值面图像绘制的质量。将改进之后的Marching Cubes算法应用在对气象模式数据即WRF数据的等值面模拟中,在图像绘制速度和绘制质量上均取得了不错的实验效果。

Abstract: Methodof obtaining intersection points of isosurface and vowex by linear interpolation in original Marching Cubes algorithm has been replaced by the method of trisecting element boundaries. The problem of linear interpolation not suitable for meteorological data simulation is therefore solved and the number of triangular facets in isosurfacemapping is effectively reduced. While reducing redundancy and improving mapping speed, the quality of isosurface mapping is further improved. The improved Marching Cubes algorithm is applied to the simulation of meteorological model data, i.e., the isosurface of WRF data, and good results are obtained in both the speed of image rendering and the quality of rendering.
