Abstract: Adopting the discrete event-triggered communication scheme (DETCS), the satisfactory fault-tolerant control of nonlinear networked control system (NNCS) under the sparse data transmission circumstance was studied. Based on the background of event-triggered sparse data transmission, a closed-loop model with actuator failure and actuator saturation was established. Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii function and the safety degree definition proposed in this paper, a sufficient condition was presented for NNCS with the generalized H?/H2 performance under the case of actuator saturation and actuator failure, which was the contractively invariant set of fault-tolerance with α-safety degree, and the corresponding co-design method was also given. A simulation example verifies the feasibility of the co-design method and the effectiveness of saving network resource. Some related qualitative principles of compromise balance are summarized for the design of practical system.
