Abstract: The mechanics equations of grid navigation system are improved and analyzed in the paper. It is simulated that the SINS/GPS Integrated Navigation System works in the low latitude region and the polar regions. The theoretic is supported by the research of the SINS/GPS Integrated Navigation System working in the polar regions. The result of simulation shows that the performance of SINS/GPS Integrated Navigation System is improved and the shortcomings of SINS and GPS are avoided. By comparing the simulation results of the SINS/GPS Integrated Navigation System, the navigation precision is consistent when the SINS/GPS Integrated Navigation System works in the low latitude region and the polar regions, which verifies the effectiveness of the SINS/GPS Integrated Navigation System working in the polar regions.
