Thermodynamic System Analysis of a New Double-Bladder Accumulator

Abstract: A new double-bladder accumulator is introduced to improve the efficiency of bladder accumulator, and the dynamic equations for the new type accumulator are established. Based on the simulation results of temperature and pressure, the generalized Maxwell model of double-bladder accumulator is deduced, and the concept of thermodynamics spring is put forward. On account of simulation results, it shows that the new double-bladder accumulator has better operational efficiency and losses coefficient than that of the old type. The internal relations among the generalized Maxwell model, thermodynamics spring and operating parameters are analyzed with the purposes of upgrading design and proper use of the new double-bladder accumulator.
