Simulation Study on Cutting Force of SiCp /Al Composite

摘要: 为研究SiCp/Al复合材料切削力的形成机理,通过车削实验获得在各切削参数下的切削力,得出切削速度和切削深度对切削力的影响规律。为进一步研究切削参数对切削力的影响,基于ABAQUS对SiCp/Al复合材料进行仿真研究,采用田口方法对实验结果和仿真结果进行信噪比分析和方差分析,通过与车削实验结果的对比验证有限元仿真的正确性和可行性。研究表明:有限元仿真结果与车削实验结果一致,说明了此仿真研究的准确性;有限元仿真可以进一步研究更大范围的切削参数对切削力的影响,有限元仿真结合田口方法可以更加准确的优化切削参数

Abstract: This paper studies the formation mechanism of cutting force of SiCp / Al composite based on the processing parameters from the turning experiment, and explains the effect of cutting parameters on the cutting force of SiCp/Al composite such as cutting speed and cutting depth. To further investigate the influence of cutting parameters on cutting force, this paper conducts cutting force simulation of SiCp/Al composite based on ABAQUS, and verifies the accuracy and feasibility of the simulation by comparing with turning experimental results. The S/N ratio and variance of cutting force are analyzed using Taguchi methods. The results show that the simulation study is accurate because of the consistency of simulation and turning experiment. The simulation can be further used for studying the impact of cutting parameters of cutting force in a wider range, and the finite element simulation combined with Taguchi method can be more accurate for optimizing the cutting parameters.
