Research on New Equalization Strategy for Series-connected Battery Strings Based on SOC

摘要: 针对传统的均衡策略中,相邻比值均衡策略能量转移效率低的问题,以及最值均衡策略均衡速度慢的问题,以电池组的SOC(State of Charge)一致为均衡目标,提出了一种新型的均衡策略。该均衡策略根据整个电池组的能量分布情况,以均衡后的SOC平均值的估计值作为参考,对每个均衡器的开关以及能量的传递方向进行控制,从而减少能量传递过程中不必要的能量损耗并加快均衡速度。在MATLAB环境下,搭建了仿真模型,并与传统的相邻比值均衡策略和最值均衡策略进行了对比仿真分析,验证了所提均衡策略的有效性。

Abstract: The adjacent cells comparing strategy has a low energy transfer efficiency, and the MAX/MIN value strategy has a slow equalization speed. Then, a new equalization strategy was proposed to overcome above disadvantages, and the uniform of the SOC of the battery strings was used as the equalization goal in this strategy. The strategy used the estimation of the average balanced SOC as a reference, and controlled the switch states and the energy transfer direction of each equalizer, according to the energy distribution of the entire battery strings. With this strategy the unnecessary energy loss during energy transfer was reduced and the equalization speed was speeded up. The simulation model was built with MATLAB, and simulation results were compared with the traditional adjacent cells comparing strategy and the MAX/MIN value strategy. The effectiveness of the proposed equalization strategy was verified.
