摘要: 植物建模与动画合成在虚拟植物、三维动画、游戏制作等领域有广泛应用前景。全面总结植物建模与动画合成领域主要研究成果,对植物建模技术从分形及L系统方法、基于图像的方法、基于三维测量数据的方法3个方面进行探讨,对植物动画合成技术从基于物理、基于过程、基于视频和基于数据驱动4个方面进行系统分析。对植物建模与动画合成领域需要进一步研究的若干问题进行探讨,并对未来发展趋势及研究方向进行展望。

Abstract: Plant modeling and animation synthesis was widely used in many fields, such as virtual plant, 3D animation, games and so on. The techniques of plant modeling and animation synthesis were reviewed. Plant modeling techniques were discussed in three aspects: fractal and L system approach, imaged-based methods, methods based on three-dimensional measurement data. Plant animation synthesis techniques were analyzed in four aspects: physically-based animation, procedural animation, video-based animation and data-driven animation. Furthermore, some issues in future research were addressed, and further trends and research directions were discussed.
