On the Standing of Simulation Technology in Developing Knowledge-Economy YOU Jing-yu    Along with the development of computer technology and information technology, simulation technology is rapidly pushed forward and plays an important role in the developing Hi-Tech. Under the environment of knowledge-economy, this paper discusses the standing of simulation technology and its development direction, substance and associated characteristics.  It forecasts the strategy to pursue the simulation technology industrialization as well to strive by every means to gain standing in the knowledge-economy environment.  The author mainly emphasized various aspects of simulation technology, including the varieties and enrichments of its definition, the contents of its study, the analysis of its R&D accomplishment, the pushing forward of soft science, the features and trend of its development, and the roles in knowledge-economy environment.  Therein one may derive the conclusion: the simulation technology possesses the vast prospects.
On Requirements and Development of Military Simulation Technology HUANG Ke-diQIU Xiao-gangDUAN HongWANG Yao-feng     In the time of high technology,  there are wider and deeper requirements for simulation in the military field than ever before. It is very important to understand these requirements for developing simulation technology. In this paper, we summarize the requirements for simulation technology and discuss the life time support of weapon system simulation. Then the paper concludes the future developing direction of military simulation and highlights the importance of combat simulation for meeting the military requirements.
Application of Simulation Technology to Army Development and Battle WANG Jing-ye, MA Ya-long, XU Xiang-zhong, ZHU Min-jie, LU He-song     The paper introduces system simulation's application in the army development and battle. It discusses the relationship between the structure and the simulation of military subject, the use of battle simulation, the questions of developing battle simulation. Based on the military requirements, the relationship between simulation system and simulation technology is explainedThen, the current trend in military simulation technology is introduced, and the development vision of the military simulation technology in 21st century is figured out. Finally the paper points out that the fusion of military simulation technology and civil simulation technology is a natural tendency.
Integration and Dissemination of Domain-specific Software on the Internet ZHAN Jian-fengKONG Xiang-an     Combining CORBA(Common Object Request Broker Architecture) with Java techniques, and taking FEM software as an example, we give a concrete solution to integrating domain-specific software packages into a whole system and disseminating it on the Internet,. In order to verify the feasibility of this solution, we have developed a software prototype on a LAN which supports TCP/IP protocol using rapid prototyping method.
Establishment of Simulation Model System for Nonlinear D.C. Motor CONG Shuang, GAO Xue-peng,

    The paper emphasizes and considers influence of nonlinear frictions of a D.C. servo motor which works near the low velocity. The simulation model system of the nonlinear D.C. motor is accurately established under the MATLAB environment, which can be used for the simulation experiment and for the design of the system controller. The work is done by combining with the results of research obtained and making full use of the software of SIMULINK. Effectiveness of the software and its power are demonstrated well.
Neuron Controller Using a Fuzzy Transfer for Hydraulic Parallel Robot ZHANG Jian-ming, WANG Ning, WANG Shu-qing     To the six-degree-of-freedom hydraulic parallel robot system featured by significant uncertainties and random disturbances and with eigenparameters varying greatly with the working conditions and surroundings, a fuzzy transfer is designed by combining the fuzzy rules and the neuron model-free control method in this paper. The neuron control method using this fuzzy transfer is proposed to control the hydraulic active joint of the robot system. The simulation results show that this new model-free control method has very strong robustness and adaptability as well as good resistant disturbances and satisfied performances. It is useful for the real-time control of the hydraulic parallel robot.
A Colored Petri Net Based Matrix Model for Discrete Event System Modeling and Simulation WEI Jun-hu, CAO Heng,

    A new matrix model, including a certain DE matrix state equation and the Petri net marking transition equation, yields a complete dynamical description of a DE system. This paper introduces a matrix model of dynamically corrected Petri net incidence matrix, which provides a means of routing selection and scheduling decision. It allows efficient modeling and simulation for DE systems based on colored Petri net.
A Sort of Analogical Modeling Method of Liquid Networks SHI Xiao-ping, SAN Ye     In this paper, a sort of analogical modeling method of liquid networks is presented. The method presented in this paper has advantages of form simpleness, low computation, high real time and high fidelity in contrast to other modeling methods. The correctness and practicability of the method are verified by the simulation results of lubricating oil system of the turbine generator.
Wave Guide Modeling and Simulation for Underwater Acoustic Propagation WANG Jing, HUANG Jian-guo, GUAN Jing     Based on the wave equation, this paper describes the underwater acoustic propagation by a wave guide model, and computes the model. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the model. The successful application in MFP also proves its effectiveness. 
Agent Body Action Simulation Modeling on Tracking and Collision to Object XU Dong-pingGAO Xiao-hong     The model of agent body action on tracking and collision to object is presented in this paper. Some simulation & modeling ideals about agent body action are described. It includes how to determine the Relative Active Object Position, describe the moving attributes of objects with scatter difference, forecast moving paths of objects, control the collision in tow relative moving objects, adjust the angle of view to the dynamical tracked objects. It will be used in the research fields, such as the modeling of tracking and taking photograph, controlling of collision in flight, etc. 
Design of an In-Well Environment Simulation System for Deep Well of Oil Field SAN Ye, LIU Jun-qiang, LIU Cui-ling, SUN Shun-min     Design of an environment simulation system (ESS) for drilling & culling devices working in ultradeep well is discussed in this paper, on the basis of developing an in-well environment simulation system for deep well of oil field. The ESS adopts multi-means such as physical simulation and half-real object simulation and can be used to simulate in-well environment of various geologic and various depth well. New breakthroughs are obtained in manufacturing large-scale ultrahigh pressure container, design of ultrahigh hydraulic pressure system, design of multi-media large delay nonlinear control system, detecting state of device tested under simulation environment, modeling of in-well environment of oil field. 
Development of Self Study Simulation System Based on Model and Knowledge Base HE Zu-wei, TANG Sheng-li,

    In this paper, a method that developing a self-study simulation system based on model and knowledge base is presented, the system will combine the technologies such as thermal simulation, knowledge base, network, multimedia with modern educational theory. The construction and functions of the self-study simulation system for power plant operation is introduced. As a self-study simulation system, it consists of three parts, a simulator, knowledge base and student model. The simulator includes a set of training model and developing environment of model. The student can study power plant operation and correlative theory. The realization of the system will improve the development of the function of training simulator, and lay the foundation of tele-education.

    The necessity of building Shuihou Hydropower Station System is expounded in the paper. Besides the hardware and the software configuration is described, the content of the paper is specially focused on the design philosophy and the technical characteristic. Full operating mode training and full range simulation are realized on this basis. The system is not only used for training, but also for operation instruction.

    This paper introduces the research of radar netting jamming simulation system with computer. The emulation model of radar netting jamming system is founded. The corresponding computer software also is complied, and the result of jamming is evaluated. 
The Operation Control System Simulation of WYRDP HE Qiu-ru     The operation control system simulation of WYRDP is an important part of the entire system operation computer simulation of Wanjiazhai Yellow River Diversion Project. This paper first describes the problems of WYRDP operation control and the objects of the control system design, and then discusses the system analyzing methods and the system control strategy. The simulation modules are also introduced briefly. Finally, the main conclusion is given based on typical case simulation results. 
Research Advance for Real-Time Simulation Algorithms LIU De-gui, ZHU Zhen-min     In this paper, some recently developed results of real-time simulation algorithms for dynamic systems are surveyed from six different aspects. The discussion includes: fast real-time simulation algorithms; real-time combining algorithms and real-time parallel algorithm on net parallel computers; real-time simulation algorithms and real-time simulation parallel algorithms for differential-algebraic system; real-time discontinuity treatment; information transference error of simulation model; investigation of spurious solutions of digital simulation for dynamic systems, etc. Some new ideas and methods of constructing real-time simulation algorithms are given. 
Weight Smoothing BP Algorithm: A Method to Improve Network Generalization SUN Xiao-yan, LI Sa, MA Yuan-liang     The problem of generalization ability of feedforward artificial neural networks (FFANN’s) is one of the main obstacles in this field. It is of great interest for both theoretical analysis and practical application. The basic theory of a special kind of algorithms with smooth weights is discussed in this paper and for the first time, the algorithm is used for sonar target classification problems to improve the generalization ability of FFANN’s .The results verified its effectiveness. 
A New Method for Solving, Analyzing and Synthesizing the Nonlinear and Variable Parameter Systems WEN Chuan-yuan     This paper introduces a new method for solving, analyzing and synthesizing the nonlinear and variable parameter systems. The method is multistage linearization-high order differentiation equation method. The main special features of multistage linearization-high order differentiation equation method are as follows: (1) The high order linearization equation is founded from differentiating the nonlinear and variable parameter differentiation equation with necessary and available orders of differentiation. (2) It ought to contain the information from original equation as enough as possible. The solution is the equivalent solution of the nonlinear and variable parameter equation especially for the condition considering the compensation effect of the special solution with respect to the external factor of neglected high order items of nonlinear and variable parameter equation. During the solving problem process for the nonlinear and variable parameter system, the analyzing and synthesizing efforts have been reflected. 
Closed-Loop Iterative Learning Control for General Nonlinear Discrete System GAO Wei-hua, XIE Jian-ying     Based on the analyses of deficiency of open-loop iterative learning controller, a closed-loop P-type iterative learning controller which based on current output error is proposed. Its convergence condition is given according to the general nonlinear discrete system. Simulation results show that a simple controller can track arbitrary desired trajectory without error. 
The Projection Pursuit Learning to Approximate Multiple Dimensions Nonlinear Time Series XIE Mei-ping, ZHAO X-iren     The projection pursuit learning network to approximate multiple dimensional non-linear time series and the algorithm are presented in this paper, which can approximate the modes of multiple dimensional non-linear time series at any accuracy. The modeling and forecasting of multiple dimensional non-linear time series based on projection pursuit are solved, and a real example indicates that the algorithm is feasible. 
Two Classes of Implicit One-block Hybrid Methods ZHAO Shuang-suo, TAO Yong-lin, HUANG Yong-dong     For the initial value problems of the stiff systems of m-dimensional ordinary differential equations, this paper presents two classes of implicit one-block hybrid methods with highly parallelism, in which,one class is r-point (r+3)-order A-stable methods, the other class is r-point (r+2)-order L-stable methods. For the equation systems produced by the two classes of methods, we use complete square iterative method to solve them. If parallel computer systems with r processors are used, then LU-decomposition operation amount is m3/3+O(m2) on each processor.The end in the paper gives numerical examples.
Power Plant Simulation: Technologies in the Next Generations HE Min, LU Chong-de     The development of simulation environments and technologies for power plant in recent thirty years is reviewed from three different developing periods.  The developing trends of the simulation environments and technologies for power plant in the next generation are further prospected: Web-based simulation; distributed interactive simulation (DIS); and Web-based DIS.  These simulation environments and technologies are described, and virtual reality (VR) technology use for Web-based DIS is also described.  We believe that these technologies and their integration will be very useful in power plant simulation systems in the next generation. 
Application and Development of Simulation Technology in Cold Continuous Rolling Mill CUI Jian-jiang, WU Sheng-xi,

    This paper analyses a dynamic simulation system of cold rolling mill and discusses the status and signification of simulation application and development of cold rolling mill in our country and foreign countries. Modeling and process of simulation in cold rolling mill are analysed. The execution of dynamic simulation includes the advanced modelling technology and time coordination scheduling and the use of multi-advanced simulation technology, such as coordernation simulation, simulation database, and integrated simulation. In this field virtual reality and intelligent simulation maybe act as future development in the end. 
Missile Control System Simulation Technology WANG Dong-mu     In this paper the evolving course of simulation technology’s effects in missile weapon system research, development and performance evaluation is reviewed briefly. In order to expound that developed countries attach importance to missile control system simulation, two hardware in the loop simulation systems of America are presented. In view of simulation technology developing situation in China, three research emphasis are pointed out. 
The Dual Near-Field Effect in Radio Frequency Simulation CHEN Xun-da     In this paper, the two kinds of Near-Field Effect in Radio Frequency Simulation: “the near-field for single antenna” and “the near-field for a triad of antennas” are described. The difference between these two kinds of near-field and, in particular, the harmful effect of the “near-field for single antenna” on the accuracy and fidelity of target simulation are also pointed out. At the last, a hot topic about “all kinds of near-field errors can be corrected” is discussed, and some basic conclusions are given. 
The Applications of Fuzzy Association Rules for the Environmental System Simulation LU Jian-jiang, SONG Zi-lin, QIAN Zu-ping     Data mining is the discovery of useful and potential information hiding in databases. In this paper, the quantitative association rules are discussed further on the basis of reference [1]. The fuzzy sets are adopted to soften the domain partition boundary of the quantitative attributes. Then the concepts of fuzzy association rules on interval valued database and the methods of mining these rules are presented. The applications of fuzzy association rules for the environmental system simulation are discussed last.
Simulation for CDMA Wireless Communication Applying MATLAB’s SIMULINK Function YANG Shi-hai, ZHOU Liang-zhu     This paper give a simulation for CDMA communication applying MATLAB’s SIMULINK function, and offer a group of software to perform the visualizing simulation, the software perfectly display the advantage and the process of normal CDMA communication. More over, it provides a software base for further study on CDMA communication. 
Two Focuses in the Development of Contemporary Simulation Technology LI Bo-Hu, CHAI Xu-dong, MAO Yuan     In this paper, the two focuses in the development of contemporary simulation technology, Advanced Distributed Simulation (ADS) and Simulation Based Acquisition(SBA) are overviewed. The related key technologies for constructing and implementing ADS and SBA systems are also detailed presented. Finally, in view of the development of ADS and SBA, some questions worth intensive studying and thinking in further development of contemporary simulation technology are put forward.

    As the progress of the society and the development of the technology, the customer's demands for products is tending to variety. OKP(One-of-a-Kind Production) becomes the inexorable development pattern of manufacturing. At same time, as CONWIP production control systems inherits the advantage both of MRP-II and Kanban, it has received a great deal of attention from researchers. In this paper, a simulation analysis of different kinds of CONWIP systems is proposed in order to meet the characteristics of OKP enterprise. Simulation results demonstrate that mix multiple segments CONWIP control strategy has the best control effect.
A Kind of Combinatory Controller Used in AC Drive System and Its Parameter Adjustment WANG Jun-feng     In this paper, a combinatory controller used in an AC drive system is introduced. The advantage of combinatory controller is used to improve the system’s performance in dynamic and steady characteristic. The state recognizer is used to rectify the variations of system’s parameters and the system nonlinear. The right-across experiment method is introduced to adjust the parameters. A smoothing method is used to control the exchange between the two controllers. The result of emulation indicates that the performance of system is excellent, with good real time character and easy to realize.

    In this paper, the connotation, architecture and its key technologies for Virtual Prototyping are studied and presented. A given Virtual Prototype development supporting environment for complex system composed with some subsystems including mechanical subsystem, electronic subsystem, software subsystem and control subsystem consists of VP development environment, standard data interchange formats and distributed product model database, and its details are also introduced to facilitate the practice and development for virtual prototyping technology in our country. 
Research on Virtual Manufacturing Technology and It’s Application XIAO Tian-yuan, HAN Xiang-li, ZHANG Lin-xuan     Virtual manufacturing (VM), the landmark of information era, is the all-sided innovation caused by modeling and simulation technologies in traditional manufacturing.     Collaborative virtual prototyping (CVP) is the approach and technique used by multi-displinary experts to build and apply virtual prototype in a distributed environment. This paper analyzes the relationship between CVP and collaborative design, and presents a collaborative design methodology based on CVP, which can flexiblely and comprehensively support collaborative design. The methodology can fully test and verify the product’s function and performance before its really design, manufacture and application. The paper also presents CVP modeling method and heterogeneous simulation method, and presents the architecture of the CVP based collaborative design environment.

    Virtual prototyping is a new kind of technology in products design, development, and assessment, which is based on Integrated Products and Process Development. In this paper, the concepts of virtual prototyping and collaborative virtual prototyping are given, and the functional property of virtual prototyping in different phases of virtual acquisition of weapon systems is discussed. Emphases are put on the main architecture of a collaborative virtual prototyping environment supporting the whole lifecycle of virtual acquisition of weapon system. Finally, the perspective of collaborative virtual prototyping is given.
