The water transfer project from south to north in China is an
important strategic project, and modern simulation technology
application in the analysis and research has become one of the
most efficient tools for the complex system. This paper presents
computer simulation technology application in the research of
water price in the middle-route of the water transfer project
from south to north, brings forward the simulation modeling
system for middle-route project supplying area water price,
constructs the object function, water price model, paying
function model and restriction model, and obtains the main
simulation parameter. By simulation analysis, we calculate the
changes in middle-route project area supplying price on
different condition and analyze the influence to the industry
and life after price improving. The results express: compared
with present water price, the paying period water price will
obviously improve; by water price increasing, the influence to
the interrelated industry is relatively small; and paying period
water price generally in the middle-route supplying area
residents acceptable range. |

| Blind
and Semi-Blind Identification and Equalization for Multipath FIR
Channels |
LEI
Xu, XU Chong-yang, LIU Yi |
In multipath FIR channel transformation, the intersymbol
interference caused by channel distortion is one of the main
interferences which influence the performance of band-limited
channels. In oder to enhance the performance of digital
communications, equalization techniques must be adopted at the
receiver. Blind equalization algorithm, which makes best use of
the statistics of the channel output signals, is a hot research
topic. Because the prior knowledge of the channel and pilot
symbols of burst date can be used, the semi-blind identification
and equalizationhave also excellent application prospect. This
paper introduces blind and semi-blind algorithm, and some
viewpoints for future research are described at the end of the
paper. |

An arresting simulation model of an aircraft arresting system
for a certain kind of aircraft which has a deflective engagement
of a net barrier is established in this paper (the model is also
suitable for normal case). It is based on SIMULINK software.
According to the model, arresting process is simulated.
Simulation results show that the arresting system is very
effective to rectify a deviation of an aircraft having a
deflective engagement of a net barrier. The simulation model is
not only suitable for the aircraft arresting system, but also
suitable for other kinds of aircraft arresting systems by
changing the subsystems of it. |

LI
Qing-zhong, SUI Qi, ZHENG Yong-qing |
Today
most datawarehouse systems use the Snow-flake model as their
data model, but this model has some disadvantages including its
dissatisfied access efficiency. Our datawarehouse system is used
to support product development decision-making according to the
product’s sales in market, and the Snow-flake model can hardly
satisfy our demands. In this paper some ideas of object oriented
technic are combined in customary snow-flake model, and the
result of which is a new mixed datawarehouse model of both
object oriented technic and snow-flake model. The outstanding
access capability of the new model is also validated with
experimental data. |

The Simulators for Ship Engine and its Control System, developed
by Shanghai Maritime University (SMU), have three operation
modes. The first mode is a single-computer system, in which both
engine model and control system are simulated on one computer.
The second mode is a distributed control system, in which the
upper computer is a PC with human-machine interface, and the
lower computer is a micro-controller to control the engine model
through simulation console. The third mode is worked as a key
part of the large marine engine room simulator developed by SMU.
A dynamic optimal BP neural network is used as the engine model,
and the software of control system is designed based on
real-time multi-task operating system. The simulators have been
used for training of students and seamen at several maritime
colleges in China since 2000. |

| Web-based
Indoor Environment Virtual Walkthrough System |
YANG
Meng, WANG Guo-ping, DONG Shi-hai |
A new scheme based on Client/Server frame for indoor environment
virtual walkthrough is presented in this paper. The proposed
method first constructs a hierarchical q-j
polygon
patches linking map of all the patches by adaptively subdividing
patches into subpatches according to the patch’s attribute and
a user-supplied error bound. After that, the environment is
rendered using a light tracing algorithm and the result is saved
in a panoramic map. The panoramic map is used to synthesize the
view at novel viewpoint during walkthrough process. The size of
the data structures required by storing panoramic map is not
much large, and only a sparse set of patches is needed to be
transferred over network, so this method is well suitable for
web-based virtual walkthrough system. |

paper to satisfy the special requests of the electro-hydraulic
servo load system and its object, then the existent conditions
of the NARMA model and its inverse model is proposed. The method
models the system by using RBFN, which only uses the input and
output signal, and then the NN inverse model, which is
also the controller, is trained by the system NN model offline
to ensure its astringency that may be destroyed by the system
noise. Practice control shows that the output can track the
desire trajectory exactly, and the robustness against some
uncertainty and noises is proved. |

WANG
Jie-fa,
LI Shi-jing, FENG Zu-ren, LI Ren-hou |
This paper focuses on the designing of debugger for
multi-processor system based on four TMS320C25 DSPs, presents
the soft-interface method (SIM) and the method of recording
breakpoints outside the processor’s memory (MRBOP). SIM is
realized by the protocol between the master PC and the C25s so
that it can similarly used to any processor based
multi-processor system whether or not the processor has step
register. MRBOP saves the breakpoints in an array in the master
PC other than in the C25’s stack.so that the debugger can hold
the least system resource of C25, and that the user can set
breakpoints arbitrarily. At the same time, some problems are
also discussed for parallel debugging in this paper. |
